Whether you're stopping for off for an early morning pick me up, or indulging in a leisurely brunch, scroll down for a tour of Winchester's most highly caffeinated establishments!

cafe rost

First stop: as you wander down from our florist shop at the station and turn left at the traffic lights, you'll find Cafe Røst. One of Winchester's newest coffee houses and quickly becoming a firm favourite!

cabinet rooms

Walk down to Jewry Street to find Cabinet Rooms, perfect for homemade sweet treats (made by the owners' mum) and delicious coffee. But our favourite here has to be their espresso martini, make sure you end the night here as well!

Josies winchester

Carry on walking a little further along Jewry Street you'll find Josie's, famous for their American style pancakes and incredible breakfast burritos. This is definitely an essential stop for any couple with a sweet tooth.

rawberry

Take a left at the traffic lights and walk down the hill to Rawberry! Full of vegan delights and colourful feel-good smoothies, their açaí bowls are the perfect way to start the day!

forte kitchen

Over the road from Rawberry is Forte Kitchen, literally a stones throw, so you won't have far to walk for your next caffeine fix! Head upstairs for a breakfast of dreams, or pop in their hatch for a takeaway and a wander.

orangery

Walk through The Square to find The Orangery, with the best waffles and an amazing breakfast range, this pretty cafe is guaranteed to impress!

ashbys

Take a detour through the alley next to the Hambledon and wander up to St Thomas Street to find Winchester's newest cafe, Ashby's. If your Valentine is a fan of pink, this is a must see!

general store

Turn left from The Square to find The General Store. Their heated outside seating and extensive cake selection makes it an essential stop before a wander around the Cathedral. Another spot that's just as good in the evening, with wine and charcuterie boards perfect for two!

flat whites

Down the road & around the corner is our final stop of the morning, Flat Whites! Purveyors of fine cookies and decadent hot chocolate combinations; the pod should be on everyone's list when they visit Winchester. The perfect spot to end our Valentine's tour, now you're fully caffeinated it's time for a wander through the cathedral, out through college street and into the Water Meadows!
