Delphiniums, the perfect English country garden flower to bring into your home. Their name derived from the Latin name for dolphins due to their dolphin shape nectar tail at the back of each bud.

Easy to care for, simply cut on an angle and keep on fresh water, change the water every two to three days and remove any foliage from the bottom of the stem. Buds will drop from the bottom upwards, so remove these when they perish, chop the stem a little shorter and enjoy them for longer as top buds start to pop. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight once cut.

Delphiniums are best displayed en mass in a tall vase or mixed with strong focal flowers like hydrangea, roses and peonies for a perfectly seasonal bunch.
