We have closed both stores in line with government instruction to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
We are continuing to take orders for all occasions over the phone and online. With a few of the following exceptions our delivery service is running as usual:
- Collection from store is unavailable
- 48hr lead time is required for sympathy arrangements
- We have reduced our opening times to 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday
- Due to the adjusted safety measures across the supply chain the deliveries will not be made until late morning and anytime up until early evening
We have adjusted the way work from the sourcing of our flowers to how they are made and eventually delivered to your doorstep in accordance with Public Health England Guidelines which reduces contact right across the supply chain.
We are receiving buckets of freshly picked locally grown flowers on alternating days with flowers couriered direct from Holland Auction, along with a delivery of heavenly scented fair trade Kenyan garden roses twice per week.
One florist is conditioning and creating the flowers each day, and if demand increases there is an adequately spaced workstation for a second florist to begin work. Another key team member is delivering the flowers to our customers across Hampshire from our own delivery vehicle.
Our two member team are not using public transport and are stringently following social distancing legislation. They both have access to hygiene aids and the PPE required, namely gloves and aprons.
Our deliveries are being made to the recipients doorstep. We ring the door bell, take a step back and wait for acknowledgement of receipt of the order via the window before heading off. In the event we come face to face we are vigilant to maintain 2 metres distance. We have hand sanitiser and hospital grade cleansing wipes in store and on board the van.
If you would like to discuss any part of our adjusted supply chain our lines are open from 9am to 5pm from Monday through to Saturday.
